Landon
Elmore is a master interface designer with skills as an illustrator and
web producer.
He relocated to San
Francisco in January 1989 from his native North Carolina, two years after
graduating with honors from the School of Design at North Carolina State
University. After landing in California, he worked with Kathleen Elsey
Design, Levi Strauss & Co., X-Farm, and Studio-V, as well as being involved
with most of the projects led by BGA.
He is proficient in
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Quark Xpress, Dreamweaver, Fireworks,
BBEdit/HTML, Flash, Acrobat (PDF), Microsoft products and most browser-based
applications. His knowledgeable of cross-platform variables and issues
helps give him keen understanding of what it takes to see a new media
project through from concept to implementation. Perhaps his most valuable
asset is an innate sense of usability and satisfying user-experience.
His experience also
includes all manner of print communications, corporate ID design & production,
and in-store... posters, counter cards, video, product labeling & packaging,
and fixtures, not to mention direct mail.
In 2002 he returned
to North Carolina where he works with clients in Research Triangle Park
area, as well as maintaining his relationship with us on the left coast.
